Vaalien makuaPerjantai 28.1.2011 klo 11:44 - Mika Lintilä Kun eduskunta palasi lomilta, oli helposti havaittavissa se tosiasia, että vaalit odottavat kolmen kuukauden päässä. Kuppilan pöydissä kysellään, mille tilanteet missäkin päin Suomea vaikuttavat ja missä vaiheessa oma vaalityö on. Itse kun tauon aikana vierailin kaikissa maakuntamme kunnissa, sain varsin selkeän kuvan missä mennään. Ilmapiiri oli selkeästi myönteisempi kuin kaksi kuukautta aiemmin, jolloin edellisen kerran kiersin kaikki kunnat. Tosiasia kuitenkin on, että varsinaista vaalikuumetta kokevat tässä vaiheessa vain ehdokkaat, eivät ns. kansan syvät rivit. Ihmiset tiedostavat, että vaalit on tulossa, mutta muuten ne eivät vielä suurta osaa keskustelusta hallitse. Enemmän ihmiset juttelevat ihan jokapäiväisistä mieltään askarruttavista asioista. Itselleni maakuntakierroksesta jäi kuitenkin erittäin myönteinen maku. Palautetta tuli ihan kiitettävästi ja se oli vielä jopa kannustavaa. Erityisesti tuntui huomiolle laitetun vastuuni (ja sitä kautta esiintymiset) puolueemme talous- ja veropoliittisen työryhmän vetäjänä. Eurooppalainen taloustilanne on sellainen, että kiinnostus talous- ja verokysymyksiin on kova. Ihmiset ymmärtävät, että ilman tervettä valtiontaloutta ei ole hyvinvointivaltiotakaan palveluineen. Uskallan väittää, että talous ja verot nousevat vaalien suurimmiksi kysymyksiksi ja siihen keskusteluun tulen tuomaan oman osuuteni. Mielelläni otan aina palautetta vastaan eli ollaan yhteyksissä. |
